I am a senior certified Executive Enterprise and IT architect with more than 15 years of experience supporting clients in enterprise architecture, architecture governance, and transformation activities. I was part of central architecture boards and acted as architecture lead on large globally-distributed transformation programs. I hold an Open Group Distinguished Architect and TOGAF certification.
On July 1st 2016 I joined Microsoft in the role of Global Account Technology Strategist. In this role I will be responsible for a global client from an architectural and technology perspective.
Prior to joining Microsoft I was a Global Client Technical Advisor with IBM. At IBM I had overall architectural and technical responsibility for large clients. I am a former member of the IBM Academy of Technology, led the architect profession of IBM Switzerland and was globally responsible for IBM’s Enterprise Architecture education.
I am very passionate about Enterprise and IT architecture. I have written a book about the subject matter, lecture at universities, present at conferences, and lead a focus group of the Swiss Informatics Society around modeling and architecture.
